ME
I was born in the summer of 2004, into an ordinary family. In addition to me, I also have an older brother. I thought our family would live happily forever, but unexpectedly, my parents divorced due to various reasons when I was two years old. As a result, I lost my so-called “happy family” overnight. From then on, there was no one who played the role of father in my life.
My mother has always been raising me, and she also plays the role of father alone. As for my brother, because of my grandmother’s obstruction, we seldom heard from him. It is precisely because of this that I hate my grandmother very much; I still don’t understand why she wants to block our family’s relationship.
A few years later, my mother was introduced by a friend to a middle-aged man with a similar experience to her, with an age difference of 7 years. At first she didn't think about remarrying, but through long conversations day and night, she discovered that he worked abroad. She also felt that he was very easy to get along with and had a compatible personality. She also wanted to take the opportunity to visit other countries, so she decided to marry him, and accompany him to continue his development abroad. Until now, they have been married for more than ten years…
Since I was eight years old, I have had an unrelated family member, and I later followed them abroad. I believe few people have heard of this country. It is a country rich in bananas and is run through by the equator.
"Ecuador" is the name of the country, and it is located in South America, sandwiched between Colombia and Peru. I never thought I would be able to go abroad. I stayed for ten years, but I would come back every two years, so I never lost contact with my family and friends.
At that time, I had just arrived in an unfamiliar city and knew nothing about it, then I went directly to the local school the next day. During the recess period, there was a huge crowd of people running towards me, and my thought at the time was whether I should run or stay where. But before I had time to run, they all ran to me and surrounded me, and I thought to myself, why am I so special in their eyes? Later I found out that I was the only Asian in school at that time.
Since then, I have become very good friends with everyone, and they have also enthusiastically introduced me to food and the country’s folk customs. Even now that I have returned to Taiwan to attend university, I still keep in touch with them, and they have never forgotten me.
