Have you ever heard about a famous film series called “Fast & Furious”? It was released on June 22, 2001, and successfully grossed $207 million at the box office with a budget of $38 million. The film was praised for the performance and acting skills of Vin Diesel and Paul Walker. The main theme is the bond between family and friends. Until now, a whopping 11 series have been released, it includes episodes 1 to 10 and a spin-off movie. While both films may seem similar, they have striking differences, such as different plots, character personalities changes, and directors.

The first difference, in Fast & Furious 1, the plot of the entire movie focuses on Brian's character, describing his undercover police job to catch Toretto to investigate their illegal street racing bets, but in the end his identity is exposed, whereas, “Fast & Furious X” talks about Dante Reyes, the son of drug lord Herman Reyes. In order to avenge his dead father, he made a 12-year plan and vowed to eliminate Dom and his underground spy organization. As we can see, the plot changed, but what will never change in “Fast & Furious” is its die-hard concept.

Another difference is the changes of the character personalities. In Fast & Furious 1, the main character Dominic Toretto, was a street racer who occasionally carried out small-scale criminal operations, but in Fast & Furious X, he became a hero who saved the world.

Finally, the last difference between both films is that they have in total 8 directors to lead the film. One of the directors, Justin Lin, who is a Taiwanese-born American, participated in the production of "Fast & Furious 3,4,5,6,9", which is impressive. Below the directors of “Fast & Furious 1” and X, they are Rob Cohen and Louis Leterrier, and they only directed one film each.

All in all, the three main differences between the two movies are as above: Due to Brian's death, his character was missing from the entire plot, but the plot is continuing… Then, all the characters except some of the important cast, they are all different, including the director. It can be said that the “Fast & Furious” film series has been with me since I was a child. I have been watching the actors through my life, and I still can’t forget the craze that “Fast & Furious” set off at that time.
